Chrstmas Day
Believe it or not we didn't start opening presents until about 7:30 am. Nice! My family came over later in the morning, and we did presents with them. My cousin came later with her son. It was really a nice day, and everyone had fun.
Ashley loves her new bouncy horse. She loves to bounce at any given moment, so this was perfect for her!

Barbie Princess Dress from Santa! This was the main thing she wanted, and she told everyone! Santa searched high and low for this present (out of stock, even online) It was a God thing that I found it, and it was even on clearance! WooHoo!

Christmas Eve
Christmas eve at the Crick house was fun and eventful! Abby was so into it this year, it was so much fun! The pictures will pretty much say it all.
The girls are ready to go to church for the Christmas Eve service. They looked so cute!
After church we came home and got comfy. Jeff and Abby made cookies for Santa. My dad used to do cookies with us growing up, so I thought it would be fun to pass down the tradition. They really did have fun, and thank goodness for Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookie dough!

Here's the loot, and our pretty tree! The girls got their 3 main gifts from Santa, just like Jesus got 3 gifts from the wise men. Abby really did understand the true meaning of Christmas, and that made us feel really good. We did make a birthday cake for Jesus (red velvet), but we didn't get pics of it. It turned out yummy and Abby had fun singing Happy B-day to Jesus.
Trying to get a picture of the girls with their matching pj's. Ashley was too distracted with the bows! Oh so pretty and shiny!
Ok, this is funny! One of our neighbors left Abby some "reindeer food" (glitter and Quaker oats)for her to sprinkle on the front lawn for Santa's reindeer. We took her outside and she pretty much dumped it all in front of the deer that was lit up in our yard. It was food for the light up deer! Crazy girl!

Merry Christmas!
OK. These are still pics from when we went to Disney, but they're christmasy so I saved till now. The last day we were there, we went to eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge, and the hotel was all decked out for Christmas. Huge tree! Totally loved it!
Very tall tree! You can hardly make us out in the picture.

Little bit more up close!
May you all have a truly blessed Merry Christmas!!!

Day 3, Breakfast at O'Hana's
Day 3 we actually took it pretty easy. The girls and I met up for breakfast with my parents at the Polynesian Resort and had breakfast with Mickey,Pluto, Lilo and Stitch. Jeff had his conference in the mornings so it worked out real well. Very cute breakfast, we've never eaten there, so it was nice. Couldn't believe that Abby was ok with Stitch, she surprised me.
Too funny of a picture with Ashley. Lilo was so sweet with her though. Ashley's face is hilarious.

Still at Disney, Animal Kingdom!
On day 2 we went to Animal Kingdom and my parents met up with us (a.k.a. Mimi and Poppy)
We had never been to Animal Kingdom, and it was the perfect park for us. More perfect for Abby, she's not into doing the rides. But it was so nice and the shows are really cool!
We went to Chef Mickey's for dinner. The desserts were so yummy!
A CME at Disney!!!
Jeff had a CME(continuing medical education) at Disney's Grand Floridian and we were all up for it! We went the week before Thanksgiving, and the Christmas decorations were pretty much all up. There was even a life size gingerbread house in the lobby of the hotel. Soooooo cute! Of course, before we left I had to buy a real gingerbread house for us to bring home. The first night we were there we went to eat with Cinderella and her entourage and then it was off to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I know, you think we were crazy taking a baby, but she is such an awesome baby! By the way the party is from 7pm to midnight. We left around 11pm though. So much fun and so worth it!!

Too excited to be at Disney!

Just a funny picture of Ashley

Ashley's first encounter with a character, and she totally ate it up. She started laughing!!

Here's Drizella, the step-sister. They were a hoot!
Abby meets Tinkerbell for the first time. This is a whole new meet and greet with the Disney fairies. Very cute set up.

Happy Halloween!
Halloween day started off with the costume parade at Abby's school. It was really nice because Jeff was able to be there for it. Abby was sweetly surprised to see him there.

They march around the inside of the church.

This was my parents on Halloween night. They surprised us all by dressing up like doctors to go trick or treating. Can't believe that my mom actually convinced my dad to do it. What good grandparents!
Abby talking with her friend Andrew. Poor girl woke up with her allergies, or so I thought, later that afternoon she began running a fever. Good mommy, sending her to school, but she was acting normal. Plus, she didn't want to miss her party or trick or treating. Luckily, it never turned into anything serious. Whew!
