Happy 1st Birthday, Ashley!!!

I cannot believe that a year has already gone by. We had her birthday party on Saturday with close friends and family. It was an Easter party because she was born on Easter last year! Such a fun and easy party, I even found the perfect party goods for the theme. Publix made the cake to match it all! I made her little cake because in case if you haven't heard yet, she's allergic to milk and to eggs. Her cake came out really yummy, though! We had such a nice time and all the other kids had fun too.

Cake for everyone to eat!

Ashley with her Mimi. She actually has little curls in her hair! That's about all she got from me, my hair does have curl- I just straighten it out.

There's her little cake, it turned out pretty cute.

Now, she's going for it!!

These are just random pictures that I took a couple days before her little party! She is getting into a lot of mischief now, but she is so funny at it.

A Day at the U-Pick Farm!

Hey, everyone! Sorry, it's been a while. I got on facebook, and boy is that addicting! Anyhow, a couple of weeks ago we went with some friends to a farm to pick strawberries! So fun!! They even really have a big red barn! Abby loved that! It's the first real barn she has ever seen! They also got to pick green peppers, cucumbers, and squash! It was a fun time, only thing is it's quite dirty. I don't know what I was thinking wearing flip flops. Oh well, part of the experience! Here some pics of our little trip.

See all the dirt:-)

Ashley got her ears pierced!

A couple of weeks ago Ashley got her ears pierced! Thank goodness there is an ENT Dr. in town that does them. It took me a while to find a dr. who does them because there was no way I was going to the mall to get them done. Anyhow, she has done awesome with them. She hasn't even fussed with them. Abby had hers done when she was 6 mths old, so of course we had to get Ashley's done.

Hard to see them in this picture, but look at those big blue eyes!

Loggerhead Turtle Marina

After Christmas Jeff had some time off, so we decided to do some fun things around town. We went to a turtle rehab facility in Juno Beach. So cool, and free!! They do ask for a $5 donation, can't beat that, and anyone can go!! Anyhow, Abby had a fun time, there were quite a few turtles, and we even got lucky and saw some new hatchlings. They saved them because instead of the turtles hatching at night they hatched during the day, which is really bad for the little guys. They also had a cute little play area for the kids. Fun family day!

Chrstmas Day

Believe it or not we didn't start opening presents until about 7:30 am. Nice! My family came over later in the morning, and we did presents with them. My cousin came later with her son. It was really a nice day, and everyone had fun.

Ashley loves her new bouncy horse. She loves to bounce at any given moment, so this was perfect for her!

Abby's gift from Uncle Mark, Aunt Stacy and Sara! A big hit!!

Barbie Princess Dress from Santa! This was the main thing she wanted, and she told everyone! Santa searched high and low for this present (out of stock, even online) It was a God thing that I found it, and it was even on clearance! WooHoo!

Abby with Mateo playing in the back. We went a little crazy and even decorated the play set in the backyard, lights and all. It looked cute in the evenings.

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve at the Crick house was fun and eventful! Abby was so into it this year, it was so much fun! The pictures will pretty much say it all.

The girls are ready to go to church for the Christmas Eve service. They looked so cute!

After church we came home and got comfy. Jeff and Abby made cookies for Santa. My dad used to do cookies with us growing up, so I thought it would be fun to pass down the tradition. They really did have fun, and thank goodness for Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookie dough!

Trying to get a picture of the girls with their matching pj's. Ashley was too distracted with the bows! Oh so pretty and shiny!
Ok, this is funny! One of our neighbors left Abby some "reindeer food" (glitter and Quaker oats)for her to sprinkle on the front lawn for Santa's reindeer. We took her outside and she pretty much dumped it all in front of the deer that was lit up in our yard. It was food for the light up deer! Crazy girl!

Here's the loot, and our pretty tree! The girls got their 3 main gifts from Santa, just like Jesus got 3 gifts from the wise men. Abby really did understand the true meaning of Christmas, and that made us feel really good. We did make a birthday cake for Jesus (red velvet), but we didn't get pics of it. It turned out yummy and Abby had fun singing Happy B-day to Jesus.

Merry Christmas!

OK. These are still pics from when we went to Disney, but they're christmasy so I saved till now. The last day we were there, we went to eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge, and the hotel was all decked out for Christmas. Huge tree! Totally loved it!

Jeff being funny! Trying to get the picture to look like he's got the Indian headdress on him.

OOOOh, I like this tree!

Ashley really liked the tree, thank goodness she really hasn't messed with ours at home.

Very tall tree! You can hardly make us out in the picture.

Little bit more up close!

May you all have a truly blessed Merry Christmas!!!
