A visit from Uncle Mark, Aunt Stacy and Sara!

Mark, Stacy and Sara came to visit us last week from Birmingham. We got to meet Sara for the first time, and boy is she a cutee! Abby had fun having 2 little babies around. It was so nice to have them come down and it worked out nice because they got to celebrate Abby's b-day with us.

Mark with Ashley

There's Sara! Ashley and her had matching outfits ( in different colors) and they looked so cute.

All 3 girls in the swimming pool! Mark has Sara in the floatie, and mom is holding Ashley. Ashley loves the pool.

Checking each other out.

Our Summer Vacation!

We just went on our first official family summer vacation. We went to the Disney Vero Beach resort, and it was perfect! I know we're becoming a bit Disney crazy, but I got to tell you this resort was pretty calm on the whole Mickey theme. What was nice was that, it's just an hour away from home( short ride for baby who doesn't like long trips in car seat), everything was right there (pool, beach, restaurants, etc...), and the convenience of being able to take kids to room for naps and back to the pool and other activities was great! Abby got to do so many things aside from swimming. She got to make beaded jewelry, make a crown, have a tea party, make a paper airplane, go on treasure hunts and even get to have another breakfast with Goofy and Donald!

Abby at the entrance to the resort. They gave her a first time visitor pin with all the characters on it.

This was so cool! The first night we got there the kids got to watch a movie while swimming in the pool! How perfect for Abby, it was Cinderella 3! Abby's the one with her feet sticking out of the water, in a purple bathing suit. Another night they did it again and she got to watch Rescuers Down Under, and this time we brought a bag of popcorn!

Ashley even got to go in the pool. We actually tried the beach for a little while, and it got too hot for her, so off to the pool.

Breakfast with Goofy! They only do these breakfasts twice a week, and we were able to get in on Wed. Ashley was so funny when the characters came to the table she would smile and start squealing. Donald was there, too.

Nap time. Seriously, she is pretty on the money about her nap times, and she just decided to fall asleep in Jeff's arms in the water. Poor thing, we weren't even keeping track of time, but she made due.

Can't forget about Ashley!

Ashley is now 3 1/2 months old now. She's so funny and cute! She's laughing and talking (baby talk). It's funny though because when she gets to making her sounds and you respond back she will go on and on, it actually looks as though she is really trying to communicate with you.

Ashley with Jeff's dad. She's been checking out her hands a lot lately! If there not in her mouth, she's looking at them.

This is funny because Jeff took this picture and it looked like she was counting her fingers! She would just keep putting one finger up at a time and "count"

Disney Breakfast and Blizzard Beach Part 2

Here's the water park pictures! Blizzard Beach was a lot of fun! They have a little tikes area that was perfect for the kids. We then went down the lazy river! I loved that, I could've stayed on that the whole day!! We took a couple of waterproof disposable cameras, I have more pics from the rides we went on. The only thing is we didn't get the pics on disc, sorry, but we do have few with the digital!

Disney Breakfast and Blizzard Beach Part 1

While everyone was here we decided to take a day trip to Orlando! We had a fun character breakfast at Cape May Cafe at the Disney Beach Club Resort after that we went to Blizzard Beach. I'll get those pics up on part 2, they wouldn't download here ( I think there were too many). Braxton has never met any of the Disney characters before and we just had too let him experience it! He was great with them until Goofy started chasing after him, he liked the other characters, just not Goofy anymore! Abby loved the characters!! When you've got a 3 & a 4 year old, you just never know how the whole character thing is going to go down! Thank goodness it was a hit!!!

Abby with her Papaw! She was so good about waiting for the characters to come to our table!

Me and Abby! We left Ashley home with my mom! It was nice to have some Abby time to ourselves.

Braxton and Abby with Dale. These characters are so cute, but it's so funny because they don't talk! They can't talk! That has got to be the hardest part of being one of these characters!

Abby loved Minnie!

Here we are altogether with Chip! Now we're off to the water park!!

4th of July

Hi, everyone! I'm going to be making up for lost time. Hope everyone had a good fourth! We had Jeff's dad and sister with her son come down and visit us for the weekend! It was really fun, especially for Abby to have her cousin to play with! She was so excited to be having a "sleepover"! It was a nice visit!

Aunt Kim with Abby and Braxton. They went with our neighbors to play tee ball on the tennis courts! Can you tell it was a bit toasty outside!

To cool down we went to our neighbors pool. Here's Abby swimming to her Papaw! She can really swim. When we moved here I made sure we took private one on one lessons and she loves to swim! She loves her goggles!

Braxton and Abby riding on our swing set. This set will actually be coming down soon, and we'll be putting up another one. Poor Jeff has the job of getting the other one up, but this one has to go. It's been through a couple of hurricanes with the previous owners and it's showing it's wear and tear.

With the 4th of July comes fireworks! With fireworks comes kids that don't want to go to bed. So, they stay up. Either they fall asleep on their own or go to bed when the fireworks stop. We waited till they stopped, very late!

All smiles!

Ashley is smiling away now. Too cute hu? I have to admit that she smiles more for me than for Jeff. We might have a mommy's girl on our hands. Anyhow, she's in her carseat because we had just dropped Abby off at school, and she was just smiling like crazy in her seat.
