Mother's Day

Mother's day was very special this year because we also had Ashley's Baby Dedication done at church in the morning. It was all very sweet. Both girls were perfect during the whole thing. You just hope that there's no crying or fussing from either one, and they were wonderful. The day was very nice and relaxing. Here's just a few pictures to remember the day. I know it's been a while...

Sorry, that it's been a while since I've posted new pics of Ashley. We've been adjusting to having a little one in the house, and I think we've finally got things running pretty smoothly now. I am going to be honest, having the second child is fairly easy, you know what to do and what to expect. It's getting the whole routine down that's hard. Anyhow, it's taken us 6 weeks, but we're feeling fairly confident now. I can even get the sit-n-stand stroller in and out of the car a lot easier now, woo-hoo!!

Here's Ashley at 5 1/2 weeks old. She's already giving us those sweet gummy smiles. Too cute, but too fast to catch with the camara.

More Baby Pics and Friendly Visits

I've been asked to put up more pictures of Ashley. She is doing wonderful! She's a hungry little one, but I guess when you start out at 9 lbs, you can expect to have a good eating baby. Anyhow, here's some recent pictures of her, and what's been going on in the Crick household.

We actually got some pictures with her eyes open.

She found her thumb yesterday for the first time! I told you when she gets hungry she'll suck on anything. However, this was her first time ever sucking her thumb.

Our neighbors came over for dinner and brought some yummy ice cream cones for the kids!

This pic was taken in the hospital, don't know how I skipped over it . Thought it was pretty and wanted to share.

Our dear friend Joseph came for a visit. He was a big hit with Abby, he played tea party with her. We really enjoyed his time with us.We have more visitors coming in the next few weeks, can't wait for them to see how Abby's grown up and to meet Ashley!

Our Easter Blessing!

Here she is! Ashley Noelle was born on Easter Sunday, March 23rd at 1:44 p.m. She weighed 9lbs and 1 oz. Yes, you read right, 9 lbs!!!! We did get to have a bit of an Easter morning with Abby before we took off for the hospital at 7:00 a.m, which is what we were hoping to be around for. The timing was perfect, God is so good!

Here's the proud big sister with her little sister. Every time she holds her we have to take a picture, but this was the very first one!

Proud daddy of 2 girls! Which by the way her hair may look dark, but her hair is a bit lighter and her eyes are getting blue! Another one that takes after her daddy.

She's ready to go home! Actually, we were all ready to get home! We're all doing great and adjusting to new routines again, but we're really loving every minute of it!

Counting down!!!

Well, went to the Dr. yesterday and I'm almost 3 centimeters dilated! Woohoo!!! I'll be induced next Thursday, if I don't go by then. I actually had the option to get induced this weekend, but it's Easter weekend and I really don't want to be in the hospital on Easter. Who knows, I really might not have much of a choice in the end. We'll see. These pics we took the other night. I did cut my hair, but there's a bit of a shadow around my head. Abby wanted a picture of her with mommy and baby sister. Can't believe we've been able to keep the name a surprise for this long. Everyone will find out soon enough.

Believe it or not Abby took this picture of Jeff and I. She does pretty good taking pictures. We'll have to get her her own kid friendly digital camera one day.

Well, we'll see if I get to put any Easter pics up before I have this little one. I'm just praying to make it through this weekend.

Diaper Shower!!!

Last Weekend Edith threw me a very pretty diaper shower. It was so much fun to see friends that I haven't seen in while. For those of you that did come, thank you so much. I am nicely stocked up on diapers of all sizes! What a blessing! Here's some pics from it and you can even see me with my big belly. Mind you I am due at the end of this month ( aside for the fact that I'm sitting here typing while snacking on a bag of chocolate turtle chex mix :-). Abby got in on the fun towards the end. Steve and Jeff did take the the kids out for a while, but came back for the goodies, plus it was very hot outside!

On the Ranch

Yesterday, we went to our friend Trent's birthday party. It was on a ranch not too far from our house. Abby actually got to ride on a pony! She did awesome!!! We couldn't believe that she actually got on it, and walked around on it.

My animal loving daughter even got to hold some baby bunnies and goats. She loved it. I know she needs a dog, but not until baby #2 is potty trained. Our neighbors have a sweet dog, she gets her dog fixes from them.
